Stationery Review ~ Pentel Energel Alloy RT Gel

Hey dudes!

As promised, here is the first of many stationery reviews that I have installed for you. For my first ever stationery review, I present to you the Pentel Energel Alloy RT gel pen in BL407...

Woops, it's upside down but oh well :P

I love it's red barrel design with silver accents

Now, the reason I bought this pen was to complete my forthcoming exams and I thought it would be a treat to have a pen with good ink flow so that the assessors can read my writing. Although I prefer 0.5 mm nib sizes, this pen is quite good when you need it to be and depending on the angle you write it at, you can make your writing smaller than its 0.7mm.

According to Pentel's website, the pen features:
  • Sleek and Balance aluminum alloy barrel
  • Distinctive textured grip area
  • Quick Drying Black gel ink
  • Retractable & Refillable. Uses Pentel's LR7 gel ink refill
  • 0.7mm metal tip produces Medium lines

What I love about it is the ink flow and how fast it dries as well. Whilst in my English exam though, what I noticed though were some small skips, but I guess this depends on how fast you're writing, especially with adrenaline flowing through your veins! They were not that bad though and for a person that pays extra attention to detail, its just a minor issue. Other than that, it's real solid and I recommend anyone to grab one!

Random scribbling trying it out. Spot the mistake! *Hint: second sentence*

I hope you guys enjoyed my first stationery review. Let me know what pens you're enjoying with exams and/or work!
